The Ajax AJ-FIREPROTECT2-H-SB-B rate-of-rise heat detector is an advanced and reliable solution for early fire detection in indoor environments. This wireless device, operating on the 868 MHz Jeweller frequency, is capable of detecting both a rapid increase in temperature and a high temperature threshold, set at +64°C. Equipped with a built-in 85 dB siren, the detector emits a powerful audible alarm upon fire detection, immediately alerting occupants. Its internal antenna allows a transmission range of up to 1700 meters in open space, ensuring robust communication with compatible Ajax Hubs (Hub Plus, Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus, Hub Hybrid, ReX, and ReX 2). One of the distinctive features of the AJ-FIREPROTECT2-H-SB-B is its standalone operation capability, powered by two non-replaceable lithium batteries with an impressive lifespan of up to 10 years. This offers exceptional flexibility, allowing its installation even without connection to a centralized security system. The alarm can be silenced via the Test/Silence button on the detector or directly in the Ajax application. For added security, the detector includes an anti-tamper system and allows interconnection with other Ajax fire detectors in the same installation, ensuring that all alarms sound simultaneously upon detection.
