The Ajax LightCore Wireless Smart Dimmer Relay (AJ-LIGHTCORE-DIMMER) from lojaCCTV is an advanced solution for lighting control and dimming in residential and commercial environments. This bidirectional relay allows conventional light switches to be transformed into smart, dimmable devices, integrating seamlessly into the Ajax security and automation ecosystem. Utilizing robust Jeweller 868 MHz wireless technology, the LightCore ensures reliable communication with Ajax hubs (Hub Plus, Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus, ReX, ReX 2, Hub Hybrid) at a transmission distance of up to 900 meters in open space. Its installation is simplified as it operates with a 230 V AC / 50 Hz power supply and does not require a neutral wire, making it ideal for modernizing existing installations. This device is compatible with a wide range of dimmable lamps, including incandescent lamps (8-150 VA), dimmable LED lamps (8-150 VA), and dimmable halogen lamps (20-150 VA). For lower power devices, the AJ-BYPASS-DIMMER module can be added. The LightCore memorizes the previous brightness level and incorporates an anti-flicker function for a smooth and consistent lighting experience. With an average consumption of only 250 mW and protection against overcurrent (0.75 A) and overtemperature (+60ºC), the relay offers safety and efficiency.
