The Ajax WaterStop smart water shut-off valve (model AJ-WATERSTOP-1-B) is an advanced wireless solution designed to effectively protect your property against damage caused by water leaks. Seamlessly integrating into the Ajax security ecosystem, this motorized valve allows for automatic or remote shut-off of the water supply upon leak detection, minimizing losses. Equipped with a robust 1" (DN 25) Bonomi brass valve, the Ajax WaterStop is compatible with hot and cold water pipes, supporting liquid temperatures between 5ºC and 120ºC and operating pressures up to 10 bar. Its ultra-fast shut-off capability, in less than 5 seconds, ensures an immediate response to any incident. Wireless communication is provided by Ajax's Jeweller technology, operating at 868 MHz, with an impressive range of up to 1,100 meters in open space. Power can be supplied by 4 CR123A batteries, offering excellent autonomy, or by an external 7.5 to 14 V DC source. The valve also features IP65 protection, ensuring resistance to dust and water jets, and includes overheating notification (above +60ºC) for enhanced safety. The Ajax WaterStop is fully compatible with Ajax hubs (Hub Plus, Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus, Hub Hybrid) and ReX and ReX 2 range extenders, allowing for the creation of complex automation scenarios. It can be configured to react to water leak alarms, changes in security mode.
